FacilitiesThe physical infrastructure of the centre is based on a co-location model, whereby the University, TAFE, and the Batemans Bay Community Library share the same building for their respective activities. The location of the centre is close to sporting facilities; tennis courts, playing fields and basketball courts. There is also plenty of free parking! Facilities AvailableFacilities available to Batemans Bay students and staff include:
- Library - in addition to the print and electronic resource available in the library, computers are available for library research. Photocopying facilities are also available.
- Computer laboratories - there are computers available for student use in the computer room as well as the student area. The computers can be used for online course materials, internet access, email, library catalogues and databases.
- Kitchenette - with microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and tea and coffee making facilities.
After hours access24 hour access is available to students who wish to use the University computers or simply find a quiet place to study. The facility can be used at any time of the day or night, seven days a week. Support FacilitiesInformation technology support - this includes computer and software training and support throughout your studies with the University. Audio-visual facilities - are available to assist in the overall educational experience and can be used for presentations and flexible delivery of courses; this includes video-conferencing, video players and overhead projectors. We now also have available a digital camera, digital video camera, mini disk recorder/player, DVD player and cassette recorder for student use! Scholarships - each year a number of students are awarded substantial monetary contributions to assist them in their studies. Counselling Services - a qualified counsellor visits the Centre every fortnight or by appointment. The counsellor is available for student consultations regarding appeals, special consideration, personal and other problems. Phone (02) 4221 3445 for appointments. Learning Development - learning assistance is available for students in various areas relevant to degree studies. Workshops include:

- Essay Writing
- Structuring Arguments and Critical Thinking
- Exam Preparation and Techniques

University Careers Service - the University Careers Service offers advice and guidance to students regarding their future employment options and study strategies.
