About the Campus

Batemans Bay Education Centre

The Batemans Bay Education Centre is a joint facility between the University of Wollongong, Illawarra Institute of TAFE and the Eurobodalla Shire Council. Students attending Batemans Bay Education Centre have access to a range of services and learning is supported by easy access to information technology.

Batemans Bay Education Centre brings university education to the local community. Students enrolled in any of the programs offered at Batemans Bay can take advantage of the opportunity to study with an internationally recognised institution without leaving their local area.

At the Centre, you will learn in a friendly, student-centred environment, making full use of small work group tutorials, seminars and classes as well as linking with others across the network of UOW students.

Courses are provided by the University and TAFE and the Centre also houses the Batemans Bay Community Library.

The Library has experienced staff to assist students and stocks an excellent core collection of print, reserves and audiovisual materials as well as access to electronic databases and full text resources.
